If you used Mozilla Firefox® when requesting the root and personal certificates for use with Branch Capture, Firefox will have installed the certificates in location (certificate store) that is not used by Branch Capture.
Branch Capture requires that certificates be located in the Windows certificate store. Firefox does not use the Windows store for certificates.
As such, to use Firefox with Branch Capture, you must export the Vertifi-trusted root and personal certificates from Firefox and import the certificates into the Windows store.
To export the personal certificates from Firefox, please refer to Backing Up a Certificate. You can use the Firefox back-up files to import into windows.
To export the root certificate from Firefox, refer to Exporting a Root Certificate - Firefox. Note that you can launch Internet Explorer to download and install the root certificate in the Windows certificate store.
After the certificates are exported, import the certificates into the Windows store using the following steps:
Click Start | Run in Windows.
In the Run dialog that appears, enter mmc to launch the Microsoft Management Console.
