I'm trying to access web pages protected with Vertifi certificates and receive the HTTP Error 403.
Ensure that you are logged in with the correct Windows log-in credentials.
Ensure that you have both the Vertifi Certificate Authority certificate and your personal certificate installed properly by looking in Certificate Manager.
Your certificate store has been damaged. If your certificate store has been damaged, revoke your certificate, delete it from your browser, and ask your LSA to re-issue a new certificate.
I get the Page Cannot Be Displayed error when attempting to access web pages protected with Vertifi certificates.
HTTP or HTTPS traffic is being blocked at a firewall or other security device
Browser security settings disable SSL encryption. Look at the Security Settings on the Advanced tab of Internet Options dialog (in Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options | Advanced).
Certificate Authority Certificate is not installed, or was not installed properly. Follow the procedure Installing the Certificate Authority Certificate for further information.

Download Signed ActiveX Controls: Enable
Initialize and Script ActiveX Controls not marked as Safe: Prompt
Remove Vertifi as a trusted site
Install a new personal certificate
When the certificate export was done, the private key was not exported. This resulting imported certificate is missing its private key and will not function correctly.
Re-do the certificate export for this certificate using the correct procedure.
A representative is getting the Invalid Random Code error, yet is confident they have keyed the proper code.
Ensure the representative has session cookies enabled on their browser (in Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options | Privacy | Advanced). Check that Override automatic cookie handling and Always allow sessions cookies are enabled.
Clear the browsing history. Delete temporary files, cookies, and browsing history (in Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options | General. Under Browsing history, click Delete.)
